Being Lonely
A song from a time when loneliness felt so loud I’d walk to the mall just to talk to a guard, just to hear another voice. When I heard Jeremy Hopper’s story, the fear of being the last one, unnoticed if he vanished,it struck the same place. I wanted to dedicate this song to him
I shouldnt be here
A song about feeling slightly out of sync with the world, like you don’t fully exist here. Sometimes a sound pulls you into a memory you almost forgot, something that feels like it came from another life, something important you can’t quite reach anymore.
Body Dismorphia
Written from the weight of body dysmorphia, where your reflection never feels like your own. Every mirror becomes a quiet enemy, echoing the things you can’t seem to let go of
Emotionally Drained
A song about being the one everyone leans on, carrying their fears and their darkest moments. The kind of exhaustion that comes from feeling like you have to stay strong, because if you don’t, someone you love might not make it.
Being Forgotten
Written from the moment I came out of surgery and only my family was there. The friends who said they cared were off partying, not even checking in. It’s a song about the quiet heartbreak of being forgotten when you needed them most.
Juding someone for not believing
Written from the hurt of being told your struggles were your fault because you didn’t believe hard enough. Instead of support, people offered judgement and prayer, not help. Even professionals brushed aside real pain with, “That’s bad… let’s pray about it.
Being the Black Sheep
Written from the ache of being the child who’s always second best. No matter how well you do, the favourite stays the favourite. You’re only needed when there’s a crisis or a bill to pay. And with the parent who cared for you gone, the loneliness hits even deeper.
No one there the day you die
A song about hearing that loved ones will welcome you when you die, but realizing most of the people in your life have hurt or disappointed you so deeply you wouldn’t want to see them again. So instead, you imagine finding your own path, and building a gentle way through the dark for the person you love, so they never get as lost as you did
This too shall pass
Written from the realization that everything you build, earn, or love is temporary. One day your home will belong to people you’ve never met, your friends will move on, and death will take the rest. Even starlight fades. Nothing holds
The haunting question if I am Good enough
Written from the fear that no matter how hard you try, it will never measure up. Even on your deathbed, even if you were the only one left who could do the work, you’d still doubt yourself. Even this album carries that question
Finding the courage to grow as a Human f**** Being
A song about finding the courage to ask for help dropping your ego, walking into a psychologist’s office, seeing a doctor even when you’re terrified. Healing starts the moment you choose it.
Finding Courage in small unexpected places
A gentle song about rediscovering yourself through small moments of warmth sunlight, breath, touch, memory. Even on the darkest days, there’s a little light inside that refuses to go out, guiding you back.to yourself.
